    New Delhi, Jan 11 (IANS) With 428 fresh Omicron infections detected in the last 24 hours, the national tally of this highly transmissible variant has climbed to 4,461. Of the total, 1,711 people have recovered from the new strain nationwide so far, said the Union health ministry on Tuesday morning.

"Earlier this year, my father had taken a loan of Rs 2 lakh from Mahesh Chauhan, a local moneylender. But Chauhan tricked him into signing a receipt for Rs 10 lakh and was forcing him to repay this amount. Unable to take the pressure, he killed himself."
